Is File Kavach free?

Yes — in the initial release, core storage and sharing features are provided free of charge. Future premium features or storage expansions may be paid; we will announce pricing and get your consent before charging.

How is my data protected?

Files are encrypted with AES‑256 at rest and transmitted over TLS 1.3. We use authentication tokens and OTPs, maintain access logs, and bind third-party cloud providers with strict contracts. While we follow best practices, no system can be 100% guaranteed — please keep local backups of critical files.

Do you read or index my files?

We do not access or read the content of your uploaded files. We may store metadata (file names, timestamps, folder structure) for UI and indexing purposes.

How do I delete my account and data?

You can delete your account from the app settings. After account deletion we permanently erase personal and uploaded data after a 30‑day grace period (to allow recovery for accidental deletions).
